Social Services Program

At the Salvation Army Eastern Pennsylvania & Delaware's Social Services Program in Scranton, we are dedicated to uplifting our community by providing essential resources and support. Our mission is to meet the diverse needs of individuals and families through a range of services, including emergency food assistance and access to a food pantry filled with nutritious options. We offer financial education, counseling services, and spiritual support to help our clients navigate challenging times. Additionally, our skilled social workers assist with job placement, resume building, and interview skills, empowering community members towards self-sufficiency. During the holiday season, we also provide toys and gifts, as well as clothing for people of all ages, while fostering men's and women's support groups.
