Family Support

Based in Scranton, PA, the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA) is dedicated to providing essential support and resources for individuals diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome, along with their families and caregivers. Our Family Support team stands ready to guide families during the critical moments following a diagnosis, offering accurate information and a suite of services designed to empower and assist. This includes parent mentoring, nutritional education with meal planning, and behavior management support. Additionally, we help navigate the complexities of securing Medicaid, insurance coverage, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).
