Food Assistance

Food Assistance is dedicated to alleviating hunger in Pottsville, PA, and the surrounding areas of Berks and Schuylkill counties. We provide vital food assistance through referrals to local food pantries, soup kitchens, and mobile markets, ensuring that everyone in our community has access to nutritious meals. Our programs include support for SNAP benefits, the Weekender Program designed for school-aged children to receive meals during weekends, the Senior Food Totes Program, and the Produce 4 Kids initiative aimed at encouraging healthy eating among youth. Our mission is to foster a hunger-free community by bridging the gap between those in need and the resources available to them.
