Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels in Pottstown, PA, is dedicated to delivering nutritious meals that empower our homebound neighbors to remain in the comfort of their homes. We provide hot noon meals and optional cold meals for the evening, carefully designed by a registered dietitian to meet the dietary needs of older adults. Our service is open to anyone who is homebound and unable to prepare or shop for food, ensuring that income is never a barrier to receiving assistance. Friendly community volunteers deliver meals Monday through Friday, offering not only sustenance but also companionship and a safety check during each visit. We prioritize the well-being of our recipients, with all volunteers undergoing background checks. In case of inclement weather, we also offer emergency “snow packs” to guarantee that no one goes without food. Our program is administered by The Center at The Open Link and primarily serves the Upper Perkiomen Valley in Montgomery County, ensuring that quality food assistance is accessible to those in need.
