Food Cupboard in Pittston, PA, is dedicated to alleviating hunger by providing essential food assistance to families in need. Our mission is to ensure that every household has access to groceries that meet basic nutritional requirements, offering a selection of non-perishable food items and essential non-food contributions sourced from local donations and state support. Additionally, each family receives a gift card for Shop N Save to help them obtain further necessities. Our food distribution takes place on the third Tuesday of every month from 7 to 8 PM at Zion Lutheran Church, with no pre-registration necessary—just complete the application during your visit. In response to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we are committed to implementing proactive measures to safeguard the health of our clients and staff while continuing to meet the increasing demand for emergency food assistance in our community.
