Outside, a dedicated pre-licensed professional, MEd, MMT, MT-BC, specializes in creating an affirming therapeutic space for individuals who identify as fat, queer, polyamorous/non-monogamous, visibly disabled, gender-expansive, and expectant parents. Their approach emphasizes a collaborative journey to 1) deepen the understanding of relationships to self and others, 2) deconstruct systemic barriers while expanding awareness of one’s privileged and marginalized positions, and 3) explore individual attachment styles and family systems dynamics. Outside offers unique methods that weave music, poetry, and other expressive arts into therapy sessions, catering to creatives who seek to explore beyond traditional discussion. With specific training in Reproductive Mental Health and expertise in addressing prenatal, postpartum, and polycule issues, Outside integrates various therapy types such as music therapy-assisted childbirth, family and marital therapy, and relational therapy.
