MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Philadelphia, PA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen each Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with personalized treatment options that cater to their individual needs and preferences. We offer various resources, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, TeleMOVE! for at-home support, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer to manage their weight independently. For Veterans facing ongoing challenges, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery. Each facility offers tailored services, and we warmly encourage anyone interested in weight management to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to embark on their journey towards better health.
