Stephen Becker, MSW, LCSW, is a compassionate clinical social worker and therapist dedicated to fostering a safe and welcoming space for his clients. He understands that it is through open dialogue that healing and transformation can truly flourish. Stephen believes that every individual possesses an innate desire for growth, maturity, and happiness; however, life’s challenges can sometimes hinder this natural progression. Through his therapeutic process, he empowers individuals to diminish, weaken, and ultimately remove the obstacles standing in the way of their goals and dreams. Committed to continuous learning, Stephen is pursuing post-masters training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, allowing him to deepen his expertise in helping clients let go of unhelpful patterns. His long-standing interest in the transformational tools grounded in Buddhist philosophy and mindfulness meditation further enhances his approach, enabling clients to embrace a holistic pathway toward well-being. Stephen accommodates a diverse clientele, including preteens, teens, adults, and elders, through various modalities, including individual and couples therapy, while addressing key issues such as depression, sexual abuse, and anxiety.
