Stefany Diaz

Stefany Diaz is a compassionate and dedicated clinical social worker and therapist with a passion for guiding individuals on their personal development journeys. She understands that many of her clients may be navigating challenging periods in their lives, and she prioritizes creating a trusting alliance that empowers them to define their goals. With a strengths-based and nonjudgmental approach, Stefany tailors her therapeutic techniques to fit each client’s needs and style, ensuring safety and self-determination. Her expertise spans a variety of techniques, including cognitive therapy, motivational interviewing, supportive therapy, and play therapy. Stefany works with a diverse range of clients from ages 5 and up, including adolescents, young adults, mature adults, families, and individuals, and provides services in both English and Spanish. She assists clients facing issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, work/life balance, transitional challenges, and relationship problems. As an experienced clinical social worker and a Level 2 Reiki Practitioner in Traditional Usui Reiki, Stefany brings a wealth of knowledge to her practice. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies, with concentrations in African American Studies, Child Development, and Spanish from Syracuse University, and earned her Masters in Social Work with a focus on Advance Generalist Practice from CUNY Lehman College.
