Jesse Suh

Dr. Jesse Suh is a licensed clinical psychologist with a wealth of experience in providing psychotherapy, consultations, and evaluations for adolescents, adults, and families. His areas of expertise include treatments for substance use and behavioral addictions, particularly concerning concerns like gaming overuse or gambling. Dr. Suh specializes in addressing relational difficulties and enhancing family functioning, working closely with couples and families to resolve conflicts, particularly those involving parents and their children. As a Korean-American clinician, he effectively supports Asian-American young adults and their families, conducting both evaluations and therapy. Dr. Suh employs an eclectic, integrative treatment approach designed to foster a supportive therapeutic environment, promote emotional growth, and build essential coping skills. His treatment objectives encompass improving relationships—whether parent-child, couple, or family—achieving personal and academic aspirations, making healthier lifestyle choices, and maintaining overall psychological well-being. He earned his doctorate from Long Island University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where he serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor.
