Courtney Slater

Courtney Slater, PhD, is a compassionate and skilled Psychologist who is dedicated to helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges. She believes that no one should have to suffer alone and is committed to guiding her clients toward a more fulfilled life. With a wealth of experience, Courtney works with teens, adults, and elders facing issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship problems, trauma, and grief. Utilizing a primarily psychodynamic perspective, she delves into the underlying causes of her clients' difficulties, while also incorporating techniques from various approaches including gestalt therapy, emotionally focused therapy, mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral therapy to tailor her methods to each client's unique goals. Courtney is particularly sensitive to spiritual and religious issues, welcoming individuals from all faiths and cultural backgrounds to explore these aspects in their therapeutic journey. By encouraging clients to uncover and explore parts of themselves that may remain unknown, Courtney helps them bring new vitality and understanding into their lives.
