Carole Nehez

Carole Nehez, LCSW, MSS, MA, is a dedicated Clinical Social Worker and Therapist who provides psychotherapy and psychoanalysis to individuals and groups in a positive, safe, and non-judgmental environment. Her goal is to strike the right balance of support and challenge, empowering each client to work, play, and love to their fullest potential. Carole frequently works with clients who have experienced early wounding or are navigating transitions in relationships, aging, loss, or end-of-life issues. She also enjoys supporting artists in freeing their creative energy. Carole views each client as unique, and her therapeutic approach is an exploration of what is possible, desirable, and achievable in their lives. Initially trained as a psychotherapist at Bryn Mawr, she spent an additional decade training as a psychoanalyst at PSP and currently practices at the Philadelphia Consultation Center & School of Psychoanalysis. She holds an interdisciplinary specialization certificate in child and family well-being, underscoring her commitment to holistic mental health care. With a rich background including two decades in education and business, Carole’s experience as a mentor and administrator for both gifted and troubled students, as well as teaching literature and creative writing, enriches her therapeutic practice.
