MANNA (Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance) is dedicated to harnessing the power of nutrition to support individuals in Philadelphia, PA facing serious health challenges. We provide medically tailored meals and nutrition education, recognizing that proper nourishment is vital for healing. Our clients benefit from wholesome, delicious home-delivered meals designed specifically for their medical needs, offering 21 meals per week to promote recovery from conditions such as cancer, HIV/AIDS, heart disease, renal failure, and diabetes. In addition to meal delivery, we offer personalized and group nutrition counseling, led by our licensed registered dietitians, empowering our clients to make informed food choices. At MANNA, we believe food is medicine, and our services are accessible to individuals facing acute nutritional risks, regardless of age or income. Our heart-healthy meals are carefully prepared by skilled chefs and dedicated volunteers from high-quality ingredients, ensuring that they meet the dietary guidelines set forth by leading nutrition organizations. While our meal program is a temporary support service, it is tailored to the unique needs of each client, and applications can be initiated by a medical professional through our referral process.
