Located in Philadelphia, PA, Food Distribution is a dedicated initiative from Mighty Writers aimed at addressing urgent food assistance needs while fostering literacy among children. In response to the community challenges posed by the coronavirus, this program provides essential emergency food supplies that meet nutritional requirements alongside enriching educational resources. Each meal box not only offers wholesome food but also includes writing worksheets in both English and Spanish, as well as novels and children's books distributed weekly. By supporting local families through healthy meals and literary tools, we strive to empower the next generation with the resources they need to thrive.
