In Service of Seniors

In Service of Seniors, located in Monroeville, PA, is a compassionate initiative of Wesley Family Services dedicated to enhancing the independence of older adults in Allegheny County. Our mission is to provide practical and social support through a network of dedicated volunteers, ensuring that seniors receive the assistance they need to thrive. We offer essential services such as grocery shopping assistance, food pantry delivery, and transportation to medical appointments for those who are able to enter and exit vehicles independently. Additionally, we conduct friendly visits, help seniors read their mail, and perform home safety inspections to identify and mitigate hazards. To receive support, seniors must fill out a screening form to help us tailor our services to their specific needs. While our volunteers are committed to making a positive impact, please note that we do not provide house cleaning, financial management, personal care, or moving services. Together, we strive to empower our senior community with care and dignity.
