Katie Henson, MSW, LSW, is a dedicated clinical social worker and therapist whose work is tailored to each individual’s unique life story. She believes that finding a space where one feels empowered, validated, challenged, and nurtured in healthy ways is essential for personal growth. By employing a diverse array of modalities, approaches, techniques, and skills, Katie is committed to helping individuals reconnect with or discover their worth and value. Typically working with individuals aged 16 and over, she also provides supportive sessions for couples. With a background in social work dating back to 2012 and transitioning into private practice in 2018, Katie is well-versed in various environments including educational settings, child welfare, senior welfare, and government. Her expertise includes trauma-therapy and specialization in anxiety and panic disorders, alongside enhancing social and emotional functionality. Katie believes that the journey begins exactly where one is, embracing the inherent imperfections of the human experience. Her office serves as a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where all clients are welcomed just as they are. She feels honored to accompany individuals on their journeys toward healing and fulfillment.
