ElderShare

ElderShare, a dedicated initiative of the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank in Mechanicsburg, PA, is committed to supporting seniors aged 60 and older by providing essential food assistance to those with limited household income. Our program delivers a monthly box filled with nutritious food items, helping to meet the basic nutritional needs of our elderly community members. ElderShare complements other food assistance resources while ensuring our participants do not overlap with those receiving the USDA’s Commodity Supplemental Food Program. To take part in this meaningful program, seniors are invited to complete a registration form at one of our partner agencies to receive their food box, ensuring that we reach those who need help most with care and efficiency.
