Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Mc Kees Rocks, PA, is dedicated to fostering healthy eating habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. WIC provides crucial food assistance and nutrition services tailored to meet the needs of medically and nutritionally at-risk families. Our offerings include personalized nutrition education, access to supplemental nutritious foods and infant formula, breastfeeding support, and referrals to essential health care and community services. Additionally, we conduct immunization screenings and issue new eWIC EBT cards that can be used at local grocery stores to purchase infant formula, milk, eggs, cheese, cereals, juices, and other vital foods. We are here to support families in their journey towards better health and nutrition.
