In Service of Seniors

In Service of Seniors in Mc Kees Rocks, PA, is dedicated to enhancing the independence of older adults throughout Allegheny County by providing essential volunteer-based supports tailored to their needs. Our mission focuses on delivering practical assistance, such as grocery shopping and emergency food pantry delivery, as well as transportation to medical appointments for seniors capable of independently transferring in and out of vehicles. We also offer friendly visits, help with reading mail, and home safety inspections to identify potential hazards and assist with installations of grab bars or handrails. While our services are currently influenced by community COVID-19 levels, we prioritize creating a safe and caring environment for our seniors. To access our services, a brief screening form must be completed, enabling us to better understand and cater to each individual's needs. Please note that volunteering does not include house cleaning, money management, meal preparation, personal care, pet care, lawn maintenance, or assistance with packing and moving.
