In Service of Seniors in Latrobe, PA, is dedicated to enhancing the independence and quality of life for older adults in Allegheny County through a range of volunteer-based support services. Our mission is to provide practical and social assistance tailored to the needs of seniors, ensuring they remain engaged and connected within their community. We offer essential services such as grocery shopping assistance and food pantry delivery, as well as transportation to medical appointments for those who can transfer independently. Our friendly volunteers also provide companionship through friendly visits, offer help with reading mail, and conduct home safety inspections to identify potential hazards, including the installation of grab bars and handrails for added security. To access our services, a screening form must be filled out, allowing us to better understand and meet individual needs. While we focus on vital support, certain tasks, such as house cleaning and personal care, fall outside our scope, ensuring our resources are effectively directed to the services we provide best.
