ElderShare, a dedicated program of the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank located in Lancaster, PA, is committed to alleviating food insecurity among seniors aged 60 and older. We provide a monthly box of nutritious food specifically designed to meet the basic dietary needs of low-income seniors who meet our income guidelines. This vital service is designed to complement other food assistance programs, ensuring that our elderly community members receive comprehensive nutritional support. To participate, seniors must complete a registration form at one of our partner agencies to receive their monthly box of emergency food, helping to nourish those who have enriched our lives with their wisdom and experience.
