Shobhana Kanal

Shobhana Kanal is a compassionate clinical social worker and therapist, holding an MSS and LCSW. She believes that psychotherapy is a unique partnership that empowers individuals to experience themselves and the world in transformative ways. With over 18 years of experience addressing a wide range of mental health concerns and life challenges, she provides both brief counseling targeting specific issues and longer-term therapy for navigating deep-seated conflicts and relationship dynamics. As someone of South Asian descent, Shobhana has a special interest in the experiences of first-generation Americans and multicultural families. She has successfully worked with clients from diverse ethnic, cultural, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds, making her practice inclusive and relatable for individuals from all walks of life.
