MilitaryShare A Fresh Express Program

MilitaryShare, a Fresh Express Program of the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, is dedicated to providing fresh, nutritious food assistance to families in Harrisburg, PA, where at least one member has served in the armed forces. Understanding the unique challenges faced by veterans and their families, we offer a variety of fresh produce, dairy items, pantry staples, and protein options, which are distributed at accessible locations such as armories and VFW halls across a 27-county region. Our goal is to ensure that those who have served our country receive the food support they need in a respectful and private manner. To access our emergency food services, clients are encouraged to pre-register by calling ahead to learn about distribution schedules and locations.
