Meals-on-Wheels, operated by the Dauphin County Area Agency on Aging in Harrisburg, PA, is dedicated to providing nourishing hot lunch meals to eligible residents of Dauphin County. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for homebound individuals by ensuring they have access to healthy food assistance five days a week, delivered with care by our compassionate volunteers. These meals not only offer essential nutrition but also foster connections as volunteers check in on the well-being of each recipient during their visits. We encourage recipients to contribute voluntarily based on their financial means, making our program accessible to all in need. To participate, individuals must be assessed for eligibility by our Agency's Care Management Unit.
