Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Gibsonia, PA, is dedicated to fostering healthier food choices and providing essential support for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to offer vital health and nutrition services that address the unique needs of nutritionally at-risk families. Through individualized nutrition education, we empower mothers with knowledge, while providing supplemental nutritious foods and infant formula to enhance their dietary options. Our comprehensive services also include breastfeeding support, referrals to healthcare and community resources, and immunization screenings, ensuring that every family has the tools they need to thrive. With the introduction of eWIC EBT cards, accessing healthy foods like milk, eggs, cheese, cereals, and juices is more convenient than ever at participating grocery stores, making it easier for families to support their nutritional health.
