Faith-In-Action

Faith-In-Action, part of the Allegheny Valley Association of Churches in Gibsonia, PA, is dedicated to serving the elderly and disabled residents of the Allegheny Valley community. Our mission is to alleviate isolation and enhance the quality of life for frail seniors through thoughtful acts of kindness by our devoted volunteers. We offer a range of supportive services, including friendly visits, telephone reassurance, transportation for medical appointments and grocery shopping, shopping assistance for those unable to shop independently, light housekeeping help, and food delivery from the AVAC Food Bank for qualifying individuals. While we do not provide personal care services, our focus remains on fostering connections and providing practical support to those in need within the areas of zip codes 15014, 15024, 15030, 15065, and 15084.
