Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

Located in Gettysburg, PA, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program offers essential food assistance and nutritional support to low-income pregnant and postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to five years of age. Our mission is to foster healthy food habits and improve the well-being of families through comprehensive nutrition services, breastfeeding support, health screenings, and referrals. WIC is dedicated to serving pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and those up to six months postpartum, alongside their infants and young children, including foster children. Additionally, fathers, grandparents, foster parents, and caregivers are welcome to apply on behalf of children under five. Income eligibility is flexible as MA, SNAP, and TANF recipients can access our services, ensuring that every family receives the support they need for a healthy future.
