ELECT (Education Leading to Employment & Career Training)

Located in Gettysburg, PA, the Education Leading to Employment and Career Training (ELECT) program, part of Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12, is dedicated to empowering expectant and parenting mothers and fathers to reach their educational aspirations, such as earning a diploma or GED certificate. We provide comprehensive support that includes prenatal and parenting education, graduation planning, case management, and assistance with applications for subsidized childcare. Our caring team collaborates with various community agencies to offer essential resources and referrals, ensuring participants successfully transition to employment or further education without any fees. Enrollment is ongoing, allowing students to join at any point during the school year or summer.
