Peg Gerns

Peg Gerns is a dedicated clinical social worker and therapist, holding credentials as an MSSW, DCSW, and LCSW. Currently, she is not accepting new clients and has transitioned her practice from Pennsylvania, with plans to reopen in Florida this September. Peg believes that everyone has the right to experience the joys that life offers, although challenges such as depression, anxiety, and relationship problems can make this difficult. She provides therapy for men, women, and couples, exploring aspects such as physical health, thought processes, family situations, emotional well-being, social context, and coping strategies. Peg recognizes that every individual possesses unique abilities, interests, and gifts. She is committed to helping clients develop into more fulfilled and happier versions of themselves. With expertise in cognitive behavioral theory, psychodynamic therapy, communications theories, and family systems theories, Peg works with both children and adults. She addresses various issues, including those surrounding depression, anxiety, relationship and marital problems, financial concerns, vocational challenges, parenting, and self-esteem. Additionally, Peg offers specialized support to women dealing with infidelity, whether as individuals who have engaged in extra-marital affairs or those whose partners have faced such situations.
