At MANNA (Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance) based in Drexel Hill, PA, we focus on transforming lives through nutrition by providing medically tailored meals and nutrition education for individuals facing serious illnesses. Our mission centers on the belief that food is medicine; we deliver wholesome, delicious meals designed specifically to meet the unique medical needs of our clients, from those battling cancer and HIV/AIDS to heart disease and diabetes. Each week, we provide 21 meals that promote healing and nutritional health, all prepared with care by our skilled chefs and volunteers using high-quality ingredients. Additionally, our licensed dietitians offer both individual and group nutrition counseling to empower our clients with food choices that enhance their well-being. There are no age or income restrictions for our services, and we also support dependent children of clients as well as some senior dependents. With a commitment to high-protein, heart-healthy meals, we ensure that our clients receive the nourishment they need safely and effectively. To access our services, medical professionals can easily refer individuals in need. Together, we are dedicated to helping our community members regain their health and quality of life at a critical time.
