Amy O'Neill, a licensed professional counselor (MS, LPC), finds it a privilege to witness individuals’ personal growth as they navigate their journey. She creates a safe, confidential, and collaborative atmosphere that is crucial for addressing identified problem areas. Her expertise lies in managing negative patterns of thinking and behavior, empowering individuals to thrive emotionally and in their interpersonal relationships. With extensive knowledge and experience in addressing anxiety, depression, addictions, relationship struggles, and trauma, Amy is passionate about working with both adults and teens. Utilizing an eclectic approach grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and a humanistic foundation, she is dedicated to trauma-informed practices, believing they are essential to the therapeutic process. Furthermore, as a stakeholder for the National Mass Violence and Victimization Resource Center and task force member for the Disaster Distress Line Peer Support Platform, Amy possesses a unique skill set in guiding clients through the recovery from experiences of mass violence, terrorism, and trauma, while helping them harness resilience in challenging times.
