ElderShare, located in Dover, PA, is a dedicated initiative by the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank that focuses on supporting seniors aged 60 and older with vital food assistance. Through our program, we provide a monthly food box tailored to meet the basic nutritional needs of seniors whose household incomes fall within our eligibility guidelines. This essential service complements other food resources available to individuals, ensuring that our seniors have access to nutritious food even if they are not enrolled in programs like the USDA’s Commodity Supplemental Food Program. To participate, seniors must complete a registration form at one of our partner agencies where food boxes are distributed.
