In Service of Seniors, based in Coraopolis, PA, is dedicated to enhancing the independence and well-being of older adults in Allegheny County through compassionate, volunteer-driven support. Our mission is to provide essential services that empower seniors to live safely and confidently in their own homes. We offer assistance with grocery shopping, food pantry delivery, transportation to medical appointments, and friendly visits to combat loneliness. Our team also conducts home safety inspections to identify potential hazards and provide recommendations for improvement, such as installing grab bars or handrails. Accessible services are adjusted according to community health guidelines, ensuring safety during uncertain times. To receive assistance, seniors can fill out our screening form, which helps us tailor our services to meet individual needs. While we focus on practical support, please note that our volunteers are unable to assist with tasks such as house cleaning or personal care.
