Lindsay Breeden

Lindsay Breeden, PhD, is a compassionate psychologist dedicated to helping older adolescents, adults, and couples build a reliable therapeutic relationship. With over 30 years of experience, she recognizes that true satisfaction in life and relationships stems from the quality of one’s relationship with oneself. Lindsay believes that therapy is an exploratory process, encouraging clients to reflect on their journey, view life from new perspectives, and embrace behaviors that align with their true selves and desires. While she offers brief treatments when necessary, she understands that significant change requires time and dedication. Her areas of expertise include addressing symptoms of depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and relationship dissatisfaction, guiding clients to harness their strengths and practice emotional self-support as well as reaching out for help when needed. Lindsay is committed to values of sensitivity, honesty, respect, stable boundaries, and humor. She thoroughly enjoys collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds—be it economic, cultural, religious, or sexual orientation. Although she does not typically offer family therapy, she remains open to including significant individuals in sessions when it proves beneficial for the client's progress.
