Marilyn Sullivan

Marilyn Sullivan is a compassionate and experienced licensed professional counselor, holding credentials as a LPC, CAADC, and CCDP-D. She understands that the decision to seek counseling can be daunting, and she strives to create an open and accepting environment where clients feel at ease to explore their thoughts and feelings. Marilyn employs diverse treatment approaches tailored to individual client needs, encouraging them to uncover their own truths and identifying solutions they may not have recognized before. Her practice is characterized by a responsive and empathetic approach that values the client's priorities, enriched by her unique blend of spirituality and humor. With extensive experience dating back to 1979, Marilyn specializes in substance use disorders and trauma, having worked significantly with trauma survivors and first responders. She received her Master's degree in 1983 and has been providing licensed counseling services since 2002, also offering supervision to counselors seeking licensure. Outside of her therapeutic practice, Marilyn mentors individuals in Buddhist practices. With over four decades of marriage and three sons, she brings a rich perspective to her role as a counselor.
