Lynsey Reiss

Lynsey Reiss is a licensed professional counselor who believes that change is fundamental to the essence of human nature. She recognizes that the changes one needs to undertake can often be daunting and overwhelming. Lynsey holds the view that within each individual lie the answers to their own questions; sometimes, therapeutic support is necessary to uncover these insights. Her role as a clinician is to facilitate greater awareness in her clients, drawing upon their unique strengths to help them evolve into the best versions of themselves. If individuals find themselves feeling stuck, Lynsey collaborates with them to examine the barriers hindering their progress towards their goals. With a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Delaware Valley University, she has three years of experience in the practice, specifically focusing on addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. Lynsey works with clients facing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, schizoaffective disorder, schizophrenia, substance use, and beyond. Her therapeutic approach is primarily humanistic; she sees her clients as the experts of their own life experiences, empowering them to lead the therapeutic journey. Lynsey also employs a multicultural perspective, recognizing the importance of individual experiences, cultural dynamics, and worldviews in determining the most effective therapeutic interventions.
