MilitaryShare A Fresh Express Program

MilitaryShare, a Fresh Express Program under the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, is dedicated to providing fresh, nutritious food assistance to families in Altoona, PA, who have at least one member with military service. Our program prioritizes dignity and convenience by offering on-site distributions at local armories, VFWs, and AMVETS locations across a 27-county service area. We supply a variety of emergency food items, including fresh produce, milk, eggs, cheese, pantry staples, and as available, meat, fish, and poultry. To access our services, clients are encouraged to pre-register and stay updated on the distribution schedule, ensuring they receive the vital nourishment they deserve in a supportive environment.
