Dr. Jaye Capretto is a licensed clinical psychologist with a Ph.D. and LPC, who specializes in psychological assessment with children from birth to young adulthood. Her extensive expertise encompasses a wide range of psychotherapeutic and assessment needs, including autism spectrum disorder, neurodevelopmental delays, learning and cognitive differences, trauma, grief, mood and anxiety disorders, and behavioral concerns. Dr. Capretto is recognized at the highest level as an autism diagnostician, having attained research reliability through comprehensive postdoctoral university medical center training in the ADOS-2, the gold-standard for autism assessment. She is also skilled in providing telehealth assessments for children three years old and younger with autism spectrum disorder. When working with young children, she fosters close collaboration with parents to monitor their child's progress and empower them to support their children at home. Dr. Capretto practices with profound respect for the intricate balance required to engage with individuals within their unique cultural, social, familial, and community contexts.
