Women, Infant and Children Supplemental Food Program (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Tecumseh, OK, operated by the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, is dedicated to supporting eligible pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, along with infants and children up to the age of five. Through our program, we provide essential supplemental nutritious foods, comprehensive health and nutrition education, and personalized nutrition and breastfeeding counseling. Our mission is to enhance prenatal nutrition, improve infant birth weight, combat iron deficiency anemia, and promote healthy early childhood nutrition and cognitive development. WIC adheres to all relevant federal and state regulations, ensuring families receive the support they need for a healthier future.
