At the Sam Hider Health Center in Tahlequah, OK, we are committed to enhancing the health and well-being of the Cherokee community through our comprehensive range of medical services. Operated by the Cherokee Nation, our center is part of an extensive network that includes eight health facilities and a hospital, all dedicated to promoting health for generations. We offer services in medical care, pediatrics, dental, optometry, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, nutritional services, and behavioral health, among others, ensuring that all individuals have access to essential care. To qualify for our services, individuals need to meet specific eligibility criteria including having a Certified Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB) card or Cherokee Nation Tribal citizenship, as well as caregivers of Native American children. Our goal is to empower our community to achieve optimal health through accessible care and public health initiatives.
