Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Located in Stigler, OK, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship by the Allegheny Mountain Institute is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to advocate for a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just. This immersive program offers a unique opportunity for selected Fellows to participate in a six-month experiential study at the Allegheny Farm Campus, where they will gain hands-on education in organic food systems. Through partnerships with local non-profits, Fellows will not only learn about growing and distributing diverse crops but will also engage in community-oriented initiatives such as maintaining school gardens, supporting farmers markets, and implementing food literacy programs. The Fellowship emphasizes accessibility by waiving tuition fees, and with the application deadline in March, those ready to take meaningful action toward improving food access and community health are encouraged to apply for this transformative experience each year from May to October.
