Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Seminole, OK, we are dedicated to empowering the next generation of advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Our program offers invaluable hands-on training without tuition fees, ensuring that aspiring Fellows can access education that intertwines social, environmental, and economic justice. Throughout a transformative six-month experience, Fellows engage in organic food system education, grow diversified crops, and develop community gardens, all while implementing nutritional education initiatives. Additionally, they support farmers markets and direct-to-consumer food programs, cultivating a healthier community. Following their fellowship, participants embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to enhance access to healthy foods and foster food and ecological literacy. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May to October, creating a pathway for growth and community impact.
