Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) in Poteau, OK is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission encompasses providing vital nutrition education, offering supplemental foods to support healthy development, promoting and supporting breastfeeding, and facilitating referrals for essential health care services. We strive to empower families with the resources they need to thrive, ensuring that children receive the nutritional foundation necessary for a healthy start in life.
