Women, Infant and Children Supplemental Food Program (WIC)

The Citizen Potawatomi Nation’s Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Newalla, OK, is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of pregnant and postpartum women, along with infants and children up to age five. Through our comprehensive services, we provide supplemental nutritious foods, health and nutrition education, and breastfeeding counseling, ensuring that families have access to the support they need. Our program focuses on enhancing prenatal nutrition, improving infant birth weight, combating iron deficiency anemia, and fostering early childhood nutrition and cognitive development.
