Food Distribution

In Mcalester, Oklahoma, the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR), a collaboration between USDA and The Choctaw Nation, is dedicated to providing emergency food assistance to income-eligible households. Our mission is to ensure that families within the Choctaw Nation and neighboring counties in Arkansas and Texas have access to healthy, nutritious foods that meet their basic nutritional needs. We operate food pantries that serve as critical lifelines for those facing food insecurity, helping to nourish our community with care and support. Please remember that our food distribution sites are closed during the last two business days of each month.
