At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Holdenville, OK, we are dedicated to cultivating a more equitable food system through education and advocacy. Our program empowers aspiring leaders to become passionate advocates for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. We provide a comprehensive, tuition-free fellowship experience, welcoming participants to engage in hands-on learning about sustainable agriculture and community food systems. Fellows will benefit from a six-month immersive program focused on organic food system education, and afterwards, they will embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to implement projects such as growing diversified crops, developing distribution channels for healthy foods, supporting farmers markets, and maintaining community gardens. Our mission is to ensure that every individual has access to nutritious food while fostering a supportive and engaged community. Applications are open until March each year, with the immersive experience running from May to October.
