Women, Infant and Children Supplemental Food Program (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Harrah, OK, operated by the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of eligible pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to age 5. Our program offers supplemental nutritious foods, valuable health and nutrition education, referrals, and personalized nutrition and breastfeeding counseling. By focusing on improving prenatal nutrition, addressing iron deficiency anemia, and fostering healthy early childhood nutrition and cognitive development, WIC plays a vital role in supporting families and ensuring a healthy start for the youngest members of our community.
