Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Claremore, OK, is dedicated to nurturing advocates for a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system. Our Fellowship empowers individuals through comprehensive, tuition-free training in organic food systems, providing the knowledge and skills needed to make a meaningful impact in their communities. Over six months, selected Fellows engage in hands-on, experiential learning at our farm campus, focusing on sustainable practices, crop cultivation, and community engagement. Throughout this journey, they work on diverse projects such as developing school and community gardens, leading health education sessions, and enhancing local farmers markets to improve access to healthy food. After completing their fellowship, participants embark on a Community Action Year, partnering with regional non-profits to apply their training and support community food initiatives. Applications are open until March each year, with the fellowship running from May to October, creating a pathway for future leaders in food advocacy.
