Women, Infants, & Children (WIC)

In Checotah, OK, the Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) program is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition and well-being for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Through comprehensive nutrition education, provision of supplemental foods, and enthusiastic support for breastfeeding, WIC empowers families to thrive. We also connect participants with essential healthcare resources, ensuring they receive the holistic support they need for a healthy future. Our mission is to nurture the well-being of our community's most vulnerable members, providing them the tools to build lasting healthy habits and thrive together.
