Sharon Beets is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist who specializes in tailoring treatment to meet the unique lifestyle needs of families and individuals. Having earned her B.S. in Accounting from Oklahoma State University in 1989 and later completing a teaching certificate in math and business, Sharon's path to counseling began through her teaching experiences. It was during this time that she recognized her profound desire to support her students in addressing their social needs, which ultimately fostered their academic success. In 2011, she pursued her Master’s in Community Counseling from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, driven by her passion for helping others. Sharon’s practice, Brighter Dimensions, provides a safe and welcoming environment for children, families, and individuals seeking help. Utilizing a variety of treatment methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, and Sand Tray techniques, she is committed to guiding her clients through behavioral issues, school challenges, and parenting concerns with empathy and expertise.
